Reiki is a gentle, holistic healing practice that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and wellbeing. It is not a massage; nor is it based on belief or suggestion. A typical Reiki session lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and is provided by a trained Reiki Practitioner (RP or RMT) using specific hand positions designed to promote relaxation and energetic balance.
While Reiki follows traditional hand placements—beginning at the head or feet and always respecting your boundaries, no two sessions at Sparkle Health are the same. Each experience is thoughtfully tailored to the individual, guided by practitioner intuition and client feedback, with the intention of supporting your highest good.
Energy-based practices like Reiki work to enhance the body’s own healing processes. Reiki is non-invasive and can help foster greater vitality, inner harmony, and an overall sense of wellbeing. Many clients describe Reiki as deeply calming and profoundly relaxing.
Gina Toce, LMT, NH #7888, Reiki Master and Certified IET® Master Instructor, is the Massage Therapist at Sparkle Health and brings experience and care to every session.
Your Reiki treatment takes place in a private, tranquil setting. You may choose to lie comfortably on a massage bed, relax in a massage chair, or sit in a standard chair—whatever feels best for you. You will remain fully clothed for your Reiki sessions unless massage is included. Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended.
During the session, Reiki is delivered through a series of hand placements. Depending on your preference and comfort level, Gina may use light, gentle touch, or hold her hands slightly above the body without physical contact.
To enhance relaxation, overhead lighting is dimmed and soft illumination is provided by salt lamps. You also have the option to incorporate aromatherapy, with essential oils gently diffused to create a calming, supportive environment.
