I had been trying to manage a number of challenging health issues that compounded together making life painful and unfulling. I was pushing through chronic pain every day and it got in the way of doing everything that I love and enjoy. I have seen a number of other providers who approached my treatment by trying to spot fix each individual issue but who never took the time to look at the bigger picture of my health. After 3 years of searching, I was referred to Dr. Mercuro as a possible source of relief. I can’t express enough how Dr. Mercuro and her team have taken the time, care, and effort to treat me as a whole person. My treatment was multifaceted and involved regularly scheduled massages, medication adjustments, incorporating supplements, and PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) sessions. Life has completely turned around after working with her and her team during the past year. My chronic pain, Type II diabetes, weight, and general well-being have all improved dramatically. I’ve lost 40lbs, my insulin needs have dropped, I’m taking significantly less medication for pain, and most importantly – I’m reengaged in life. I would like to thank Dr. Mercuro, Gina, Kate, and Donna for their compassion, talent, and incredible care that have helped me reach this point.

I love Dr. Mercuro’s approach. She is kind, knowledgeable, proactive, and perhaps most important of all, she listens! I would love to have her as my primary care physician, if she accepts my insurance, at some point!

Dr. Mercuro is a true treasure! She really cares about her patients and has a sovereign knowledge of her field. She not only is my physician, but also to many others I know with chronic illness or autoimmune diseases. I would highly recommend.

This is what personalized healthcare should be like. Dr. Mercuro is a very thorough functional medicine practitioner who looks into your whole health picture to try to determine the root cause of your condition or symptoms. She spends time trying to actually help her patients dial in possible underlying issues. This is so refreshing when conventional docs are so limited by our broken healthcare system that is limited by the restrictions of big insurance cos. If you’re done with docs simply medicating your symptoms and want to get to the underlying issues causing them, Dr. Mercuro uses her medical expertise and her understanding of how whole body systems affect each other, especially the gut & immune system. She has a professional but warm rapport with her patients, and is attentive and prompt with your questions and concerns. A breath of fresh air compared to old school conventional docs who herd you in and out like cattle. She brings the “care” back to healthcare. I hope functional medicine really is the future of medicine. Dr. Mercuro is helping to set a new standard. And her nurse/receptionist/nutritionist/herbalist is extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful as well. I feel fortunate to have become a patient here
