December Newsletter

The end of the year is special.  I love how things slow down a bit.  It is a time for reflection of the past year and I love preparing for a fresh start, a new beginning, the promise of a healthy 2020.  I like to compartmentalize a bit to organize my thoughts.  What areas of my life are maybe not as great as they could be?  What do I need to work on?  Is it self-care, getting enough sleep or healthy food?  Do I need to work on my stress levels or pay attention to the important people in my life?   Whatever it is for you, take note of it and visualize where you want to be this time next- be specific.  How will you feel when you make a positive change in this area of your life?  Allow yourself to feel the emotion of that success.  Just this simple exercise will start to move you toward that goal even if you do not consciously strategize.

Detoxification

A New Year, time for a cleanse.   Join me for a 6-day liver cleanse January 6th through the 11th.  Be kind to your liver, it deserves a break.  Your liver filters out toxins that come into our body via what we eat, breathe and touch on a daily basis.  Odds are your liver has been working overtime during the holidays –  I know mine does.  During this timeframe, we will be reducing incoming toxins including sugars, following a simple diet and helping our liver efficiently eliminate toxic burden by supplying it with antioxidants through food and supplementation.  We will meet twice; once at the start of the cleanse on Monday, and again on Saturday.  Doing this as a group keeps you accountable and increases the likelihood of your success.  You can find the sign up for this on the events page here and on our website.

Unfortunately, Winter Wellness Event had to be re-scheduled to a January date due to the snowfall.  Please check our events page soon for that new date and time.

In the meantime, here is some information about using elderberry as part of your illness prevention plan!
