April can be a time to focus on The Big Picture!

How about the Earth? Getting involved can be healthy for you and your Planet!

Earth Day began in 1970 as more people in the US and across the globe became aware of the environmental impact caused by humans. Celebrating Earth Day recognizes that impact and shows support across the globe for protecting our planet. Healthy steps you can take this Earth Day to support sustainability.

Contribute this Earth Day & every day!

Get involved: sign petitions you believe will help, participate in community events, write to your local, state, and national officials.
Sustainable fashion: donate or sell unwanted clothing to reduce waste, shop at thrift stores, buy fewer new items, support brands that intentionally support sustainability.
Take part in cleanups: search for opportunities in your area or connect with a local organization to offer support.
Make more plant-based meals: help lower carbon emissions, reduce the impact of food production on the environment, and help you stay healthy. Transition breakfast, lunch or dinner to plant-based. While you can opt for a vegetarian or vegan diet, choosing just one plant-based meal a day can have a big impact.
More Ideas: pick up trash while you’re out for a walk or run, use reusable bags, meal prep, and grow a container garden on your patio.
Download AWorld App: support the United Nations ActNow campaign, encouraging individual action on climate change, fun to track your sustainable actions, like daily meditating, eating a vegetarian meal, carpooling, or taking public transportation. Every action adds up to make a big impact.
