This fiery infusion was popularized by herbalist Rosemary Gladstar and can support the immune system, digestion, circulation, and reduce inflammation. The standard base ingredients are apple cider vinegar, garlic, onion, ginger, horseradish and hot peppers, but various other herbs and spices can be thrown in.
Zucchini in a smoothie?! Don’t knock this recipe until you’ve tried it! Combine it with avocado and hemp seeds for creaminess, berries for a bit of sweet and greens to balance it out. Now you have got a nutrient dense smoothie that is loaded up with fiber, antioxidants, potassium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin C, folate, and other B vitamins. It is an easy breakfast or snack that will help balance blood sugar and keep you feeling full!
