Cultivate Balance & Joy

Charmed by December’s Crisp Air & Festive Spirit!

I have already been embracing the joy this season offers! It’s easy to get swept up in the hustle and bustle, but I am remembering to fully take-in glimpses of glowing lights, the warmth of gathering with loved ones, and carrying on special traditions. I feel like time passes a little slower when we pause, breathe deeply, and connect with what truly nourishes us. Whether it’s engaging in fun outdoor activities, savoring peaceful moments with family, or honoring loved ones who have passed. December provides countless opportunities to cultivate both balance and joy. We are hoping you join us in exploring simple ways to support your health and spirit. Cheers to thriving through the holiday season!

Now Offering Peptide Therapy

Medical Management Of Obesity

Peptide Therapy is part of the medical management of obesity. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are commonly used as part of a strategy for weight reduction. These are strings of amino acids naturally produced in the body but are now manufactured to stimulate the biological effects for weight reduction. They send a signal to the digestive track and the brain that affects food seeking and hunger. One size does not fit all when it comes to personalized medicine. Different dosing regimens can be helpful in mitigating side effects and supporting a weight loss program.

It is essential that dietary interventions work in concert with medications for best results . . .

Reminder ~ Pay-By-Appointment

Sparkle Health Will Now Be Pay-By-Appointment

Our Wellness Center is transitioning from our current Membership Model to a Pay-By-Appointment System. This change allows clients to pay only for the services they use, providing greater flexibility and personalized care.

In October, Sparkle Health announced and communicated with our members that we are shifting to a more simple model. If you need to be seen by Dr. Mercuro, an appointment must be scheduled. This will allow for more frequent visits when actively working on an issue and less visits when feeling better (in “cruise control”). Patients will no longer be “members” and will not be charged a membership fee. Patients will be expected to pay for visits when they are booked and used.

To remain an active patient of our practice, Dr. Mercuro requires seeing you at least twice a year, with one of those visits being in person. If you are actively working on an issue, you will be asked to schedule appointments every 4-8 weeks. If you have not been seen in one calendar year, we will consider you inactive and you will be moved to our waiting list (if there is one at that time). In this case you would be required to have a new patient intake visit to become an active patient again.

Sparkle Health has been a membership model since its inception so this change has not come lightly. Our goal to provide the very best service and care for our Sparkle patients remains the same! Pease reach out if you have any questions.
