Luck & Laughs this March!
March Forward With Love!
The start of spring is a time of renewal. Longer days and flowers in bloom, there’s lots to love about this time of year. What are you looking forward to most?
Here are a few of our favorites . . .
Longer days can uplift moods!
Days are longer and you’re less likely to be met with darkness before and after work. That’s a mood booster, especially for people with seasonal blues over the past couple of months.
New outdoor adventures await!
Warmer weather means more time outdoors. Refresh your spirit with a trail walk through the woods, take a nice ride to the ocean and walk along the beach, or revive your legs with a bike ride around town.
Fresh spring veggie always taste great!
Spring fruits and vegetables are coming back in season! Renew your recipes with spring favorites like: Asparagus, Spinach, Kale, Rhubarb, & Strawberries. Check out our veggie-packed recipes!
Life springs up again!
Keep and eye on nature as it comes back to life is one of the year’s great joys. It’s also a perfect time to rejuvenate your yard, head outside to clear out last year’s dead growth, pull some weeds, and start some seeds indoors. Fill your wheelbarrow with new mulch in anticipation of new blooms. All that stretching, squatting, yanking and pushing is good for body and soul. No backyard? Plant some potted herbs or flowers and place on a sunny windowsill. Members join Gina at Sparkle Health for her Gardening Series this month – see below for details!
Renew your relationships!
Spring can also be a time to strengthen ties with treasured traditions, or brand new ones! Maybe that’s St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans, Easter gatherings, egg-decorating parties, an annual fun run for a good cause, or the first fishing trip of the year. Whatever works for your family and friends, take the opportunity to reconnect and express your gratitude for their importance in your life.
